Middle Weekend of Next Wave Festival 2016
We’re almost half way through Next Wave Festival 2016 and have already seen some amazing shows. We hope you got to see the ones you wanted but remember – if you didn’t, book in now as tickets are selling. Here are some exhibitions and performances opening this week/end, and one-off events that are not to be missed.

An operatic imagining of what it would mean if the year 1997 never ended.

From Thu 12 May | Passing | Northcote Town Hall | Until Wed 18 May
PASSING combines Amrita Hepi’s hip-hop prowess and background in contemporary dance with Jahra Wasasala’s grounded and ritualistic choreographic style to create a physical dialogue between two daughters of diaspora.
